Randalyn is the co-host of People, Talking People and the host of cre8tives.co.
Hi! My name is Randalyn Hill, but most people call me Randi. I’m the founder of a marketing consulting company, a figure skating coach, and now, I’m adding podcast host to my growing list of titles!
For me, life has always been about rewriting the rules and challenging what people thought was possible. From a young age, my parents noticed a bright and bold spirit residing within me. Thankfully, instead of squashing it, my parents taught me to harness it. Growing up they often allowed me the freedom to make decisions and try new things even if I wasn’t sure about them. They taught me how to be resilient and learn from my mistakes, while also modeling how to work hard and rest harder.
These character traits have stuck with me through the years and have been anchor points in my life as I kickstarted my career. After graduating high school at 16 and working through the Praxis Apprenticeship program, I landed an exciting job at Ama La Vida. After two years of fun adventures with the team at ALV, we parted ways so I could launch my own company in August of 2020.
Thinking back over my time at Ama La Vida, I accomplished a lot of cool things. I was honored to make Chicago Inno’s 25 Under 25 list, along with being featured in some press commentary throughout that time. However, what those two years have continued to confirm for me, is that my small-town roots cultivated a deep appreciation and enjoyment for:
- A strong, hot cup of coffee while you watch the sunrise
- Collecting plants and creating a space that makes you smile
- Life, every aspect of it, is here to shape you and create a story the world needs to hear
Right now, I’m telling my story in a few ways and I’m excited to have you along for the ride.
I’m one of the hosts for People, Talking People. We’re a podcast all about people, with my co-host, Jennifer, we share our thoughts, ideas, and understanding of people.
I’m also the host of the cre8tives.co podcast, where we’ll dig into what it means to be a creative, how to develop your creative process, and why it’s important to have a creative community.
I’m sure I’ll “see” you around soon, but if you’re interested in joining the journey, you can find me on the cre8tives.co website, @randalynhill on Instagram & Twitter, or at my personal website, randalynhill.com.
Bye, friends! ❤️
