On this episode of the show, Caitlin shares her health journey and how entering motherhood inspired her to dive deep into a holistic lifestyle. She shares how she was able to heal her and her children’s guts by detoxing glyphosate, how to start with herbology, and how making your own products can be an empowering way to take control over your health.
Enjoy!

- Why Caitlin dove into learned more about glyphosate and learning more about the chemical and what it does to the body
- How glyphosate impacts the body and why we should pay attention to it
- How cleaning glyphosate out of the body healed Caitlin’s physical and mental health, as well as healed her child’s eczema, eating habits, and tantrums

- Caitlin still prepares a lot of fresh food and she will try to make enough for leftovers or for a few days
- Eating out is not only unhealthy, but it’s also really expensive! Eating healthy can be expensive, but it doesn’t cost more than feeding a family at a restaurant!

- Start by learning about herbs that you know, like peppermint and rosemary and then learn about more as you go!
- Depending on your location, there are some herbs that you can’t forage so you have to get them from a health food store
- When you are starting to make your own products, you want to start with things that go on your body, not things that go in your body
- Look at the products that you use every day and think about what you would want to make yourself so that you knew the ingredients. Caitlin started with deodorant!
- If you are making products for children, be careful with essential oils
- Go slow with your changes and healing, and refer back to yourself when you find conflicting information
- New moms – you know your child and yourself best so stand up for yourself!
- And much more… Here’s the episode!
